I love Cornwall. There’s something about the southwest corner of Britain, and this southernmost county in particular. To me, it feels older than the rest of the island. Perhaps it’s being near the sea, perhaps it’s the wide open spaces, the dramatic scenery, the fresh air, the quiet, or perhaps it’s the sense of community. It may be a combination of all these things, but there’s definitely something quite powerful which, come rain or shine, moves you to think “this is the life“.
