At the end of April I was fortunate enough to meet the lovely Michelle and her husband Bryan in the beautiful french town of Aix-en-Provence. These two were married a year earlier in the States and spent their honeymoon in, arguably the most romantic city on earth, Paris. For their 2nd wedding anniversary, they planned to return to Paris and also to spend a week in the south of France. They settled on the beautiful town of Aix-en-Provence and rented a bijou apartment on the top floor of a crumbling townhouse in the heart of the old town.
Personally, I feel pretty at home in Provence as I spent many happy family holidays in the region as a child. However I had never visited Aix and so was completely thrilled when Michelle contacted me last year and asked me to fly out and take some photographs for them to mark their anniversary! I felt even more flattered when I learned that Michelle is actually a very talented wedding photographer herself based in Austin, Texas.
I hope you enjoy browsing through these photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them. All that’s left for me to say is a big thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Boyd for inviting me to join them in France, for their faith in my work and for their wonderful company!
