These days everyone is a photographer; we all use our phones to take photos and record video of our favourite people on a daily basis. It’s fast, it’s convenient and instantly sharable. But how often do we mindfully compose an image, take the time to print it, frame it and hang it on our wall? I’d argue not often enough. This process is reserved only for the most treasured of pictures, which become much more than snapshots. They become keepsakes. These are the images I’d like to create for you.

DOCUMENTARY TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY
Travel stories are some of my favourite assignments, as they give me the same opportunity I want to give the audience: to explore a new destination with fresh eyes. There’s nothing I love more than seeking out the beauty in what Henri Cartier-Bresson termed “the decisive moment”. Judging the right time to click the shutter and stamp a meaningful split-second onto a roll of film is an exciting challenge and a lifelong project.
